Our Story
Our Founder, Angélica Erika Monique Clark, has dedicated much of her life speaking to the needs of underserved families and communities. Studying and applying her Social Work education working in a number of disciplines with people of all ages and walks of life, that have struggled with a variety of ailments. It is through this work and her studies of various philosophers, theologists, spiritual leaders and the voices of the people directly impacted that she grew to recognize the harm replicated through colonial systems, policies and procedures constantly at play and still active to this day. Building a collective of revolutionary and holistic resources provided by self-determined individuals is the primary focus of this work.
What We Teach?
These struggles, combined with socioeconomic factors, contribute to various limitations experienced in regard to the balanced functioning of both the mental and physical capacity of individuals. Meeting people where they are with holistic approaches to healing such as mindfull.
Where Do We Start?
Building upon the supports already in place and establishing whether they are foundational pieces or if they can be released in order to maintain a healthy functioning of the mind, body and spirit.
How We Move?
As we have actively engaged in this work, we have been able to assist by highlighting cultural practices of mediation and providing levels of understanding, as needed.
Levels of experience providing care for and working to overcome struggles can be identified as, but not limited to, the following:

Growing Virtues strives to reduce the levels of harm both inflicted and expressed by communities and people looking to find ways to genuinely heal.
Our Founder's lived experience with these struggles has allowed them to establish tangible service offerings in order to assist those striving to establish resilient and sound assistance.
Making the decision to take authority over your own life is no easy task, especially when being consecutively struck with transitions and circumstances that are seemingly out of your own hands.
Building the capacity and tools necessary to grow in areas that contribute to our overall wellbeing is vital and essential to the healing required as people within community.
Finding someone that allows you to feel safe in unlearning potentially harmful habits and reestablishing concrete goals and steps to obtain this can be an overwhelming process.
We do not enable or coddle. We are sincere in our stance.
We are here to help you take the steps necessary to begin to help yourself.
